TANGERINE DREAM
The colour, which is big for this autumn too, bursts into another season, showing up in a whole array of shows – from metallic Blumarine draped dresses to Carolina Herrera, Lowe and Roksanda Ilincic collections. If you have already invested into a tangering coloured item hold on to it for the upcoming season. If not – we recommend a maxi dress or an accessory that you can easily carry through the autumn, winter and into the spring.

LIFE AQUATIC
Sea blues are at the top of the colour list for the spring. Elie Saab opened her SS13 show with pieces in intense blue and Alberta Ferretti dedicated her whole collection to various shades of sea blue. Matthew Williamson presented aquamarine dresses and jackets in his SS13 collection. Giorgio Armani looked at the dark waters, sending a collection of stormy blues and teals down the catwalk, and Versace presented a strong of flowing dresses in a spectre of blues and teals.

WHITE
Calvin Klein, David Koma, Nicole Farhi and Emilio Pucci all put great emphasis on white for spring - virgin snow white, to be exact. Dressing their models in sporty dresses, flowing sheer skirts, jackets and tops– white was celebrated on the catwalks. White also showed up in the SS13 collections of Blumarine, Christopher Kane and Marni. Monochrome has also been big news on the catwalks with Moschino and Marc Jacobs making it a big part of their collections.

SILVER
Oscar De La Renta, Jonathan Saunders, Gareth Pugh, Ce?line and Viktor & Rolf chose silver for their SS13 collection pieces. This soft metallic colour is a perfect choice for anyone wanting to make an impact. Go tip to toe or incorporate a silver item into your outfit – you won’t be able to go wrong.

YELLOW
From Fendi presenting mustard yellows, to Roksanda Ilincic spilling sunshine shades on her SS13 catwalk, yellow was a hit colour at Spring Summer shows. Choose between bright lemon shades a la Louis Vuitton, or royal yellow as shown at Oscar De La Renta. Yellows come in bold monotones for spring – we advise to pair a column floor length skirt in bright yellow with a simple white t-shirt for spring.

JUNGLE BOOK
Go bright next spring with intense pinks, greens, blues and yellows. It’s all about the vibrant exotic colours and shades and being brave enough to pull them off! Diane Von Furstenberg presented a collection of jewel coloured dresses and jumpsuits in lime yellows, shocking pinks and brilliant blues. Kenzo went wild with blue and tangerine animal prints, while Gucci showcased exotic colours and prints for the SS13 collection.
